Hungry Woman in Paris

Hungry Woman in Paris - Josefina Lopez bleh. not a very convincing premise. 30something woman dumps her stable fiancee and runs away to Paris, discovers that the best way she can continue living in her fantasy world is to spend $30,000 on a year of culinary school to secure her carte de sejours (sp?), even though she has no interest whatsoever in learning to cook. kind of a weaker, fictional Eat Pray Love imitator. I read about the first half, and the protagonist didn't seem to be happy about anything (aside from sleeping with her instructors), on top of being shocked that most of the courses would be taught in French. Come on, really. No wonder we have such a terrible reputation among the French....
